Our Projects

The Hank Young Foundation has produced a range of resources about the work we do and issues affecting Indigenous Australians. Visit our ONLINE LIBRARY to discover a range of informative articles and website links compiled to assist students and educators.

Education is a powerful change agent. Our goal is to bridge the gap in educational outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students whilst educating all Australians towards an authentic appreciation and understanding of Indigenous Australia. A limited number of Educational Scholarships are available from our Trust Fund to assist Indigenous students with accessing high quality educational opportunities. Currently we are able to provide tuition support to Indigenous students enroling at Rivermount College (Yatala) and Radiant Life College (Innisfail).

The Foundation welcomes enquiries from Educational providers requiring assistance in establishing Aboriginal Studies programs in the school curriculum or in developing their own school based scholarship programs. All advice and consultations are provided free of charge to interested organisations.

Building bridges between the Indigenous and non-Indigenous people of Australia is our fundamental mission. Our projects are aimed at educating all Australians and providing Australia's Indigenous people, particularly our youth with the opportunities to participate as equal members of a unified Australian society. Our draft reconciliation action plan outlines the goals and objects of The Foundation and the projects we are currently involved with.

"This isn't about Indigenous Australia or white Australia -this is about ALL Australia"
